Ever wonder what it takes to stay relevant and competitive as a food photographer or food content creator in today’s ever-evolving social media landscape? Without a speckle of a doubt taking videography seriously is hands down your best ticket to being sought after as a creative in the food space today! That’s because brands are no longer ‘just’ asking for beautiful food photos. Instead, they are actively seeking food content creators who can deliver short-form video content for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube Shorts!
This growing demand means more exciting opportunities for those of you who can provide brands with both stunning images and engaging video content. So, if you want to land brand partnerships, earn more doing what you love and grow your online presence, levelling up your video skills is no longer optional — it’s a must.
That’s exactly why my co-teacher Silvia and I decided to get together again to run our popular immersive 2-day in-person food photography, short form videography and story telling workshop in London. After seeing a continuous rise in client requests for this kind of dynamic content, we knew it was once again time to empower fellow food creators like you to take their content to the next level.
Just like last year and the year before that, Silvia and I set out to design a workshop that goes far beyond the basics. Our goal? To teach attendees versatile content creation styles that open doors to working with clients across different budgets, help them stay on top of trends, and, most importantly, guide them in developing a signature style that truly stands out in a saturated market.
But we also knew that creating content consistently can feel overwhelming. That’s why we focused on simplifying the process by sharing proven content creation systems, smart workflows, and actionable strategies. We wanted every attendee to walk away not just inspired, but empowered, with the confidence and clarity to overcome content creation burnout and produce high-quality visuals with purpose and ease.
The two workshop days were action packed; we explored all aspects of food content creation, short form video, creativity and styling. Here are some outtakes from those two workshop days…
